Similar views and exasperation were on display at the CASE marketing/tech event here in Boston in April. Our company Travel with the Experts Ltd. specializes in alumni travel and find colleges/universities unwilliing to try new approaches (say Parent's Day at a study abroad center or a visit-before-taking-semester-abroad). Even while students complain about rising tuition/loans and colleges try to avoid becoming commodity degree providers, the impetus for change cannot overtake institutional inertia. Getting the right online strategies for applicants/students/alumni/parents is hard enough -- then you have to deliver benefits/community in-person as well! - David Wallace
