Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Analyst will be to assist in the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of social media, Internet analytics and public opinion data for clients within the fields of sports and entertainment, government and international relations.
Required Skills:
· Educational background or professional experience in a quantitative or social science field;
· Awareness of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies;
· Ability to conduct extensive web research and extract meaningful answers to targeted questions as well as perform broader exploratory assignments in a timely and efficient manner;
· Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; experience with at least one major statistical software package preferred;
· Familiarity with web analytics and social media analytics;
· Ability to work effectively with other members of the analytics team, seeking and providing feedback when necessary;
· Excellent communication skills, oral and written – including editorial skills;
· Strong time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines and handle the pressure of last minute requests.
