One of our qualitative research partners, Greg Mitchell is the founder of Sequoia Research + Strategy, a strategic planning and research company based in San Francisco and New York. Some of Sequoia’s core clients include Fortune 500 firms such as SAP, Wells Fargo, Merck, and Diageo. His Millennials experience includes new product development for Samsung, gaming research for EA, Disney and glu Mobile, as well as beer and spirits work for Pyramid Brewery and Diageo.
Greg has over 16 years of marketing communications experience. Prior to starting Sequoia, he was a Senior Strategist at Greenberg Brand Strategy, a brand strategy and research firm based in Berkeley, California. There he worked on brands such as Disney, Panasonic, SAP and Microsoft. Prior to Greenberg, Greg was an advertising and strategy planner at agencies such as Ogilvy New York and London, McCann Erickson San Francisco, Deutsch Los Angeles and Carol H. Williams Advertising in Oakland, CA.
In the agency world, he was worked on American Express, Kraft, Mitsubishi Automotive, and Microsoft. Greg also spent two and one half years in London working in the Market Research department of London Transport, the operators of the Tube and a unique case study in brand identity. Greg’s strengths include his international experience, unique cultural background, facilitation/moderation skills and his love of the business and marketing world. These skills have helped clients and partners alike unlock unique insights that deliver proven results.
Greg holds a B.A. in Economics, was raised in Brooklyn, NY and has recently returned from seven years in California. |
