Jed Willard directs SocialSphere's Public Diplomacy Practice as well as the Public Diplomacy Collaborative at Harvard, a new multi-sector initiative to foster ideological exchange and promote democratic governance and values through effective international communication.
Jed is also a founding partner and board member of LanguageCorps, where he launched sixteen work-abroad programs aimed at turning young Americans into citizen diplomats. He serves as a Connector for Boston World Partnerships as well as in other roles for organizations such as the NAFSA Association for International Education and Abroad View Magazine. He enjoys consulting for the US, Canadian and other governments.
Jed received his Bachelors in History from Harvard College and his Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
Personal Insights:
Jed enjoys cooking Cajun and Creole cuisine, preferably while watching the New Orleans Saints and in the company of his beloved wife, son, and cat. He also practices sustainable forestry and avidly studies history, geography, anthropology, and comparative religion (no relation to the forestry). |
