Richard Berkowitz, a former reporter at the Philadelphia Inquirer and Columbia School of Journalism grad, has spent the better part of the last 15 years as a political and public policy analyst and researcher. In 2004, he conducted swing state polling for John Kerry's presidential campaign (reminding everyone that New Hampshire was his state, Ohio was not). In this current election cycle, Richard served as a communications and strategy analyst for Senator Joseph Biden. In addition, Richard also recently conducted research on American attitudes towards national security and foreign policy for the American Security Project, a think tank designed to assess America’s security needs in the age of terror.
Personal Insights:
Richard lives outside of Boston with his wife and three daughters. One of his favorite stories is the day that he led a dozen softballers in a remarkable come from behind victory against an opposing squad coached by the wife of a well-known Red Sox player (who will go nameless, other than to say his initials are CS). |
