A senior at Boston University, Vieshnavi joins SocialSphere in Spring 2011, while pursuing her double degree in Public Relations and International Relations with a focus on the Middle East and Africa. She has studied the way global communications influence and can be used to influence political activity at the global level. Vieshnavi has spent time working in both the public and nonprofit sectors, as a community outreach intern at the Massachussetts Office of the Governor and as a research intern at Alkarama for Human Rights, in Geneva, Switzerland.
She hails from sunny Florida, and in an effort to survive the frigid New England climate, she spends her time cooking, blogging, and playing piano. She loves to travel and has spent significant time studying in and traveling through Europe, Asia, Central & North America and Africa.
