Open Position — Analyst

We are hiring an Analyst to work under our Chief Analytics Officer to guide strategy and insight for a diverse set of blue-chip clients in the United States and abroad. The ideal candidate will welcome the challenges of a fast-paced start-up environment. He or she will be very comfortable with numbers, have outstanding oral and written presentation skills, be knowledgeable, passionate and curious about things our clients care about, including politics, pop culture, sports and branding.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Through the use of our proprietary platform and other tools, identify, analyze, contextualize and swiftly communicate social media data and world-class insights to clients who engage in the areas of public affairs, branding, sports and entertainment on a global basis;
  • Be an active member of a team that develops, executes and measures the effectiveness of social and digital communications strategies that not only achieve, but exceed client goals;
  • Work closely with all members of the SocialSphere team to develop best practices for analysis and presentation of social media insight;
  •  Develop and author white papers, case studies and other materials that support the use of our software across multiple industries and applications.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • BA/BS in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Communications or Quantitative Sciences field, with demonstrated practical knowledge of statistics;
  • 5-10 years of professional experience requiring analysis of social media or public opinion data;
  • Knowledge of and appreciation for the impact that social media marketing, listening and analytics can have on businesses and organizations of all kinds;
  • Excellent problem solving, written, oral, and visual presentation skills. Ability to create crisp, clean and compelling Keynote (or PowerPoint) presentations a pre-requisite;
  • A high degree of organizational skill and comfort working on a number of projects at one time;
  • A demonstrated passion for social media;
  • A strong team player, motivated by organizational success.

Open Position — Account Manager

We are hiring an Account Manager to focus on clients in the area of government and public affairs, both in the United States and abroad. The ideal candidate will welcome the challenges of a fast-paced start-up environment. He or she will be very comfortable with numbers, have outstanding oral and written presentation skills, be knowledgeable, passionate and curious about politics, public affairs and global trends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage a multitude of client engagements, in both a pre-sales and post-sales process; •
  • Work closely with sales team and client to understand specific business goals of SocialSphere's clients; •
  • Develop and execute plans for client on-boarding and deliverables; 
  • Be hands-on in the education and assistance to clients in their use of ORBIT™, our social intelligence and engagement platform;
  • Generate and present reports on breaking news and events of interest to our clients;
  • Assist with the development and updating of sales collateral including case studies;
  • Develop educational materials to be used by clients worldwide; 
  • Participate in inbound marketing and social media efforts on behalf of SocialSphere.

QUALIFICATIONS
